If so is it a direct fit or does it require a lot of work to fit? I only query it because I know people say 8v are interchangeable but not sure how it stands with the diesels? Here's a picture, courtesy of mikey to show the one I'm referring too

at worst you could cut the join pipe of your old back box,remove the join pipe on your new one then weld your old join pipe to it.

you mean you just want that end on the standard exhaust box?? if so just cut one off at the scrappy and pay a garage a tenner to just chop the end off your standard box and weld it on in the right place with a bit of careful trimming to the old box will fit perfect as i chopped an end off an old gti exhaust at work and have done it on sports and non-sports bumpers

Cheers guys, yeah just after the tip fro either the HDi or the GTi Just to fill the gap.

3.5 would be a bit big if your just sticking a tip on and having no roar would go for 3" maybe like this:

this was my old 206 i did buy a 3.5"one but then felt it looked a bit odd being that big with no roar from the engine so got this smaller one instead Smile

p.s. noooo its not an s16 lol
we are all young and foolish sometimes and i managed to blag it from the 206 factory when i went on a college trip so thought id whack it on haha

this is a 3.5" tip (peco backbox but gives you an idea)

that one looks spot on mate shouldnt cost very much to get fitted at all just need to trim the curved original tailpipe trim off with a hacksaw or pipe cutter and then a small weld around it job dont shoudnt cost more than £20 although im sure u could probably get it done for a tenner if you found the right place
