i changed my dials today and i think i f**ked them up. my petrol and me engine temp are showing me the wrong readings i had under half tank of petrol now i have full and my engine temp is above half when i turn the car on. can anybody help please?

Take the dials back off and move the needle?

Re check the wiring & make sure you've not shorted a wire out.

na i aint shorted a wire they come on and move when i turn the car on but they just read wrong?

im thinking it was when i touched the needles as i took them off to change them and forgot to keep in same position i need to know how to get them back lol

yh i had but when i moved them they dint actually move if u understand. i kept turning them but when i turn the car on they start half way and so i end up with a full tank. even tho i aint. do u understand. or am i confusing you Razz lol

I'm easily confused lol. I still think it might be a compatabilty issue. G seems to be having similar issues as well.

lol me to i confuse my self sometimes. haha well it does make sense sort of i have to admit i did order the wrong one but the only thing diff is that it has the engine temp and oil temp but it shouldnt make a diff to my petrol.
