I have just sent off a flywheel for lightening and balancing, will let you know the results on performance. If you need one I have a few spares that I can do an exchange job on.

Cheers bud. Engine will probably come out this winter for a rebuild and modifying. I'm in a bit of a rush as I'm on a track day at Oulton Park on Saturday!

Off to Oulton Park now for a track day. Car made 167bhp and 162 lb/ft on the rollers yesterday. Not too shabby for a standard tune engine. Just shows what proper management can do for you.

I have a question. Thats KOSO dash is our next project on 206gti. But that speed sensor need a cable operated from gearbox or hall optic sensor installation over wheel hub and a transmiter over brake disc. How did you connect speed sensor ?

This backs up my theory about the new Cat Cams... They boast an increase in power over the standard cams using a piggyback management system. This is the proof that you dont need £400 odd in cams.... Just good management.....

I connected the speed signal wire from my gearbox to the speed sensor input on the dash but it didn't work. To be honest I haven't even had time to get into the settings and set it up so it still may work fine. It wasn't on my list of priorities for getting on track today. The only thing i had working was rev counter and oil pressure light. I'm going to sort all that out over the winter now and get it set up right.
What I can report back from today is that Oulton Park is brilliant fun! The car ran like a dream, the handling was nearly perfect, I had nice lift off oversteer, it was predictable, consistent and fast. Could really feel the difference from when it was in road trim.
The brakes are amazing, even though I had a leak from the bias valve and had to put half a litre of fluid in over the day I can see how people get p**sed off using 4 pots and ds2500's on the road, they are noisy as hell till you get them hot, and once they are, they really bite hard and you are literally held back by the harness.
I'll get some pics up soon
