GTi 138s seem to be going at a good rate, is xsi your limit to keep the insurance down?

no just was local, i dont care what the engine size is tbh over the 25 mark now so not too bad, just after cheap is one, even a gti with naff engine dont bother me,
im 25 with 6 years licence and 5year n/claims. pay £300 a year on my 1.7 16v dti van and was £350 a year for my 1.4 8v 206

if its local we can go look on tues ben... dont think i'll need to adjust the torsion bars but am gunna head over anyway if its local i can tell you how bad it is

after a long soak in bath, i have been thinking, what i spend fixing, is money i could spend on the mods i want to do

could be hidden damage that you might not find until later. steer clear. but too bashed tbh

It is a Cat C. Once repaired, you will have to pay for it to be assessed by VOSA for roadworthiness etc.
Additional cost to be considered

by the times you have bought it, repaired it, had it vic checked, mot'd it (and done any work needed) then taxed it your looking at way more than the hassle is worth
you can pick them up taxed and tested for bout £1500 for a tidyish one (obv a bit older) i missed an x reg one with a snapped cambelt for £500 the other day was mint apart from that too was pretty annoyed to say the least lol

my m8s corsa had crised floor he cut the floor out and welded a new one in. then new boot and bumper.
