Cut the bottom slamp panel so the engine can come straight threw the front of the car. Put engine on wooden board put a hole in wooden board tie a piece of rope threw it and drag down the drive with another car. Just an idea.

Cutting the slam pannel is the plan, but I don't want to drag it though the gravel as the engine may topple off, or the pallet will get dug into the gravel.

You can if you like. Then reassemble at the top of the drive.

Tie the engine to the pallet so it doesn't move, then tie some rope to the car and the pallet, and rag it up the drive Laughing

Done that many of times, for moving other stuff Laughing

You need a flat piece off wood to drag it down the drive then put it on a pallet at the bottom of the drive.

Id simply cut away the front panels, lay down a 8x4 sheet of ply, slide engine onto it, pull from under the car by the board, then lay your pallet next to engine and lift it on, strap it on pallet, and use the 8x4 as the floor to tackle the gravel, have a 8x4 sheet of ply ready at the cattle grid and the jobs a gooden:)
