lmfao I have an SP cap already, it was one I saw on ebay for 99p with £1.20 P&P no bids and about 15 mins remaining, but no-one wanted it so it went unsold

Not the lock, the locks mainly plastic, slow drill speed = no sparks even if you catch the metal.. And you dont use a powerdrill anyway when drilling locks, it's normally a old-skool hand drill

I never do mate so don't worry I type, think, read, think, delete/edit

Still cant understand why we have so many threads every winter about frozen petrol cap locks / snapped keys
Why don't people just spend a minute of there time to lubricate the lock before winter sets it

Often most of us wont bother until it gets bad enough to warrent it, sometimes by then it's too late :/

i sprayed loads of de-icer in the lock in the morning, then puched the key hard, plasic case out the back of the lock and presto!
