Hi again, yet another topic within 2 days! i just cant help myself because you guys seem so helpful.
i want to get my stereo out so i can read the serial no off of it, the stereo i have is this one:
www.goauto.com.au/mell...penElement
it only has one pin hole on each side for the "key" to go in. when i search peugeot stereo removal tool on ebay etc it always shows up keys for stereos with 2 pin holes on each side. any idea where i can get a single hole key? or could i buy a double hole key and bend it to just use one side?
ive tried using a metal coat hanger bent etc and cant seem to get it to latch on when i bend the rods outwards.
thanks for your help, i really want my stereo working again and hopefully if i can get it out i can get the serial and in tern get the code

try shoving a couple of allen keys in there, both at the same time and when you pull it out push down on the allen keys so they dont just pull out, if you know what i mean!

Put a couple of screwdrivers down, and use diamond nose pliers to pull it out.

Just take the whole centre console off, instead of p**sing about with allen keys. Takes literally 2mins to whip that off
