My hub needs replaced as one of the bolts accidently sheared last week as i was tightening it.

I've got the new hub in the garage just wondering how hard it is to do this yourself? Should i get a mechanic up to fix it, I dont want to risk running on 3 bolts.

Thanks.

Also the bolt cannot be taken out, tried giving it heat and dont want to bore it out as it will most likely ruin the thread.

You already most likely ruined the thread in the hub when the bolt snapped Laughing

Probably mate, these things happen. Any info on how difficult it is to replace the hub, DIY job or get a mechanic up?

Yeah, safety first. I think I'm just gonna get a local mate thats a qualified mechanic to come up and replace it.

being a machanic would you also advise him to get a haynes book and read how to do it.???

once you've done one you've done them all.
