Hi All,

Given the current low temps it appears that my windscreen wash system has frozen, i think the motor has frozen too as im not gettting any noise trying to use it!!!
Does anyone know where this is located under the hood so i can attempt to de-frost it before i die in a horrible accident!!!

Cheers Folks

Try lifting the wiper off the screen and operating them, often they're frozen to the screen.

b******s. In your "had a bad idea" thread is the real photo and the colour of your car is nothing like that above. Crap camara or not. You have adjusted the colour that much you've turned a green tree red.

Have you checked the fuse as mine blew once and there was no noise either

Washer bottle & motor are inside the drivers side wheel arch behind the arch liner.

Mix some concentrated screen wash with hot water in a 50 / 50 mix & pour it in the washer bottle then leave it for a while.

Motor is located under the trim where your arms are attached. look under the bonnet,on passenger side right at the back, your jets will be frozen! so wil be the screenwash fluid in the bottle, not much you can do accept drive and wait for it to unfreeze

No its not there at all Confused

The motor is where MrBSI said.

Just warm the bottle up and the nozzles. Should always have screen wash in it, stops it freezing up

There's 2 different types of screenwash.

Ready mixed which you pour straight in the washer bottle.

Concentrated which you mix with water yourself in whatever ratio you want.

Concentrated is the best type IF mixed correctly Wink

concentrated i use , maybe i didnt put enough in as i dont like smell of it,

oh and yeah as above mate, warm water in bottle and over bonnet to defrost the jets and check the fuse

and if it dont work, take a bottle of water with you so you can wash the screen when you stop at the lights !!!! I've had to do this a few times
