about a week ago my abs light came on along with the esp/asr
my brother did a diagnostic check and came back as left front sensor fault
so rung around a few places and the was all 40-50 pound
peugeot was £28 so better than after market and with a trade discount it was even cheaper
so its worth a call to peugeot just to check the prices
problem solved
thanks

A lot of people stupidly forget to check the main dealer prices on items & get ripped off.
There's a lot of people out there & on here who think Ebay is always cheaper, just take trim clips for example
A lot of the newer Peugeot / Citroen stuff the ABS sensors are very cheap to buy from the main dealer as you have found out

Well i think that the dealer price should be the first choice always,if you find it too high, then you look for after market one,so that you compare the prices, and if the price is close,or even the dealer is a bit higher, then we should go with dealer and original part,so glad your problem were solved

some stuff from dealers is ok some other stuff like disc and pads are quite expensive ive found
its just if you go to your local motor factors you get it there and then and peugeot always take 2-3 days. this time i waited but if they is only a few quid in it ill go to the motorfactors every time

Alot genuine stuff is cheaper then after market on all makes like a genuine audi a3 water pump round £39 + vat and a after market one round £50 + vat and aint very good compared to geunine one.
i atend to only use genuine part even if they more money than a cheaper after market one just because i know it will fit 100 % right and have no problems, unless the customer cant afford it and like my bro just said alot of stuff has to be order in from the mean dealers and take couple days and after martet part shops atend to have most stuff in stock.

I had the same problem. Was the same sensor on mine!!!
Left front.
Made the brakes go strange one time, like abs was stuck on. Very scary.
Can't believe how many jobs one sensor does!!!

The ABS & ESP are part of the same system, that hydraulic block behind the passenger side headlight does both

i recently has the bsi unit changed on the car
the esp now flashes and doesnt work.
the garage claim the sensors for the esp are fine near the wheel but there's some problem they cannot figgure.
if the abs work ok does this mean when they programed the bsi that they may have messed up with the esp.
answers anyone please.
this has already cost me £600 and they want more to persue the problem

I changed the clutch in my mates 307sw. He phoned everyone MF locally but i told him to give Peugeot a ring in Abergavenny, they were£40 cheaper than anywhere else. I check the dealers 1st every time.

Hi Kieron. I am in Central America and Peugeot dealer here is very special, high prices and very low service. As an example, I change my front abs sensor and it cost me US $ 97 !
Do you know if there is a way I can buy by internet from the dealer you bought it and send it overseas?
Thanks
BTW. I think I´ll need to change my two back wheel abs rings
