hello all,
having crashed my car (long story) i needed a few parts, went down to my local scrap yard and got all the parts i needed. happy days , but the front bumper ive got has got fog light but my old one didnt, was wondering if there was a way i could wire them up?

have you checked if you have any wiring for it hanging down as some came with wiring if not even wired up iirc

the cars at the body shop atm, ill have to check when it comes back or ill go up tomorrow and see whats what the cars an s reg, year 98, if that helps?

Oh right I saw your sig saying 2002 so I expected it to not be an S reg. In this case it probably wouldnt have any wiring!

Im not sure. Maybe Lee can help if he has wiring diagrams. Bear in mind youll need a new stalk also with the foglight feature.

Easyest way is just wire them in with a switch & relay.

Easiest way is just not to bother, they aint mot testable so it wont fail for them not working

doesnt it fail if one is working, doesnt apply in this case, but worth knowing.

Front fog lights are NOT tested on the mot.

As said, best way to do it would be to add the wireing and switch in, dont bother changing the stalk, too much effort i recon you might aswell do it though if they are already there in the bumper

Personally, i'd do it properly and get the stalk fitted and them wired in properly. Looks smart.
