Its been done by a number of people. There will still be a recess in the bonnet though.

How bad is the recess though don't want to be buying it and fitting and looking tatty, is there any one you know on this website who has done it so i could ask them for a pic...

Teebag has recently had one fitted.
To do the recess properly it requires welding a plate in, then using filler & then painting.

Mmm cheers guys, hard thinking required, haven't got the time to weld then fill and repaint the bonnet...
Does the plate come with the grill for the recess,

Demon and tweaks do the same grill with the piece on to go in to the bumper

Looks cack. If your going to de-badge the front, do it right. Those de-badge grilles with the bonnet recess fill look cheap and tacky.
