Keep it simple yet effective. Go with a colour scheme that you think will work and just work your way through the car doing nice little touches.

Have a look at my XSi project and then other peoples progress blogs to have a look how they've modified their cars in there own way. That should give you a better idea of how you want yours looking.

Also set yourself a budget.

Saxo wheels will look like you were just desperate for some alloys and they were the first you found. Just make it a GTi lookalike but without the rear windows.

Nimrods or vortex's are the best wheels.

A decent set of seats would help.

Keep an eye out for some sport seats & matching door cards.

GTI half leather, GTI full leather or even some GTI 180 front bucket seats.

I really like the vans. Have a good look in the projects section and get some ideas of whats been done on other peoples rides and see if you want to do the same or try something that hasn't been done before.

Personally i'd be looking to colour code all the bumpers and smooth it out a bit, slam it and get some nice dishy wheels on. if i had the cash..

Now Driving a 1988 Volvo 360 GLT
2.0 8v RWD
Cheaper to insure than my 1.4 206 Very Happy

I suggest colour coded sport bumpers to start off with.
