No he was asking if you would be able to tell that his wings werent gti wings if he put sports arches on it.

So in short you can put either type of arch on your car but recommend to put the arches on that suit the wings, and unless you have the flared gti wings it doesnt matter which arch extensions you put on you will still be able to tell they are non gti. Smile

How many times, THEY ARE NOT DIFFERENT

Sport arches will fit non sport wings, Liam Hutch has done it and they fit perfect

How many times do i need to repeat myself?

Rolling Eyes yes they do fit iv fitted gti ones to a non gti myself on a friends but they dont fit as well as the proper ones for that wing type do

In my opinion they fit fine, just look at Liams for a good example Wink

Ok but you will still be able to tell that the wings arent GTI wings surely?

What do you mean?

Yes Gti wings are more flared but the sport arches will still fit non sport wings

Yes you can tell a difference, tbh i didnt really read the thread, but this is probaly the millionth time its been asked

Differences between Gti and 1.1 lx:

Sport Bumpers
Gti Flared Wings
Sp Arches (sometimes)
Gti Spoiler
SP Fuel Cap
Gti Half leather Interior
Gti Leather Steering wheel
Crystal Headlights

Thats if he is asking for the differences between the two

No i got everything like i said above except arches:

Do i buy the wings or just stick them on top of my non sport wings Question Idea

No Fat Birdss

either buy some and fit to your non sport wings with the clips provided or for the proper gti look buy some flared gti wings (about £80 a pair 2nd hand/£180 new) and then fit the arches to them too

the wings are a simple fit just unbolt and swap Smile

Its up to you tbh, arches are marmite

I put GTI wings on because i prefer the smoother look, buts its up to you

Personally you cant tell a major difference with sp arches on non sport wings compared to sport wings with arches
