will the gti clutch pedal be the same as the 1.4 clutch pedal?
i know ones cable and the other hydraulic but was wondering if whatever attaches them is the same so i can stick a gti one on my 1.4

Should be the same yes...there's only one way to find out though.

lol cheers will take a chance and get them if they are cheap enough and look right

its confusing because i cant compare them to mine as i have auto atm and am converting it over Wink

if your fitting a gti gearbox you need the whole pedal box from a gti as it has a hole that matches the bulkhead where the slave cylinder goes through to the pedal.

1.4 pedal box has a bit of metal at an angle going through the bulk head for the clutch cable so you cant attatch the slave cylinder.

This is the engine bay where the slave cylinder attatches to and as you can see the 1.4 manual pedal box has this in the way.

im not actually fitting a gti box im fitting a manual 8valve tu box to my 1.4 engine and binning the auto box as its gone bang Smile
just im going to get some bits of a gti tommorow and if the pedals were the same id buy them too while i was there Smile
