Hi All,
Firstly Happy Crispo to one and all & have a fab 2011.
I re-charged the pugs battery and then entered the wrong radio code x 4 times. I have the code now - it was left at home whilst driving somewhere for a family Christmas.
Can anyone help with Ideas - how to re-set the system - So I am not locked out of my radio system?
Thanks.
I have dissconnected the Pugs Battery doing this for 1 Hour to reset the System. So I hope this might work!

I'm pretty sure you have to leave the ignition on & radio powered up until it times out & resets to ask for the code.

Hi,
Yes your right. I just read that in my manual. the timing out is either 5 miutes or up to 1 hour!
But I drove for up to 1 hour with the radio system not clearing.
I'll have to try again.
Thanks for the help.

my old one took about 2 hours to clear once. Took it out of the car and put it in the garage connected to a spare battery for a day.

had this probably recently. it takes longer to unlock each time it is locked. can take days lol! as said before, best to take it out and plug it into a 12 power source to wait for it to clear. once its clear put in the correct code then turn it off, put it back in the car and enter the correct code. done

If you can't tell the difference between a positive and negative feed, should you really be messing with the electrics?
