When i bought my car it came with a big bore exhaust which yes sounds great but id prefer something a bit smaller such as a gt exhaust etc
Can i just stick any backbox on my car from a petrol?

If you have a GT rear bumper fitted, standard exhausts won't do. IIRC GT exhausts were slightly longer.
