Did you have to move the radiator out the way for that length?

Bit more progress today.... stripped out a spare gearbox and fitted the quaife ATB LSD and bought a better ratio CWP which means the car will now have a final drive ratio of 4.176:1.... should give it a little more zip out of the corners

What did you get that CWP out of? and what torque did you tighten the CWP bolts up to?
When I took mine out they were proper f****d. The threads were almost stripped and when I ordered more they have now been superseded. Couldn't find any proper info so took them to 105Nm

What's the standard one? I need to spend a bit more time with mine as it is now and see how I feel it needs improving.

Its out of a Citroen Berlingo 1.6... as for the bolts, They always look stripped when you take em out, I usually take them up to 100Nm with studlock

Yeh standard is 3.8 which has really poor acceleration I found. We have a 4.89 fitted in our car and use a 4.4 if it is really high speed tarmac as we would be on the limiter all the time otherwise.
4,4 cwp is £150

What max speed do you get with the 4.4? Mine currently bounces off the limiter at 130 in 5th lol

I usually gear for 100mph on the straight on the soft limiter.... most clerks of the course try to aim at 90mph maximum and will whack a chicane in the longer straights to acheive this. Not sure what you would get with a 4.4 but it may be close if you have your limiter set at 7000rpm on 600mm wheels
