Does anyone know if it's possible to bypass the aircon pump on a 1.4 8v, if so is there a diagram anywhere that would show how to do so?

Yes, you get a tensior/belt system of a TU engine without one
Swap the tensior and remove the aircon (change to different belt as well)
I should know, ive done it ![Smile Smile](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif)

the pump itself, the bearings went in it a while ago and it was replaced, now they've gone again and it sounds like an awful whine, also im trying to sell my car, so it isn't really a positive.
