This may be a silly question.....butttt

When I installed my angel eyes, I found that they were a very tight squeeze. The backs of them pressed against the air con compressor and water bottle. I put this down to the fact they are after market.

But my question is, will phase 2 crystals fit straight in? Will there be plenty of room or does the phase 1 206 have less room for the headlights?

Cheers, Mike.

The will fit in the position fine. Angels do as well.

You need H7 connectors tho [if you don't have them already]

The 206 twin H7 crystal headlights will fit the same space as the H4 frosted ones.

Aircon compressor it attached to the sump so ive no idea what you think the light is touching? ? ? Confused

ABS unit lives behind the passenger side headlamp, do you mean that?

Do you have H7 wiring so the lights operate correctly?

I don't have any connectors, I hard wired the angels in. So I think I'm gonna have to have a play round when I manage to get a set of crystals.

Wonder if you changed the headlight switch for the correct type if the H7's would then work correctly? Confused

The 2 relays are already there

Then you could just get a pair of the H7 connectors & solder / heatshrink them on to the car loom Cool

I just chopped off all the orginal connectors and hardwired in to the angels, which came with a relay.

I'm just gonna start again I think and solder and heatshrink the new connectors on just like you say.

Its being looked in to but you MAY need to also change the headlamp stalk so the crystal lights work correctly.

The relays all already there, its getting them to work in the correct way Laughing

Lee will come up with the answer soonish Cool

You only have 3 wires to power 2 x H7 bulbs with the crystals.

Both dipped & main beam have there own relay.

When you switch main beam on dipped beam is also meant to stay on.

At the moment your car as it had H4 frosted lights originally wont do this, we reckon you will need to change the headlamp switch to get the relays working correctly for crystals.

To change the switch? Laughing

Nope, 2 torx 20 screws remove the plastic trim around steering column, 2 x torx 10 screws secure the stalk, unclip then slide it out & unplug it.

Refitting is reversal of removal Laughing
