Hi, Not been on for a while due to work and other things.
Mate of mine is having problems with his 307 1.6 HDI he's had 2 new injectors fitted due to 2 faulty ones, but the question is,

Start the car and its fine but the EML is on read the codes and the list is huge! but once the engine warms up for a few mins while smoke comes out of the exhaust (Unburnt diesel) not over sure but could the FAP be full of diesel? would a regen clear it or best to replace?

Any info would be a great help
Regards
Jay

Do the same codes come straight back up after you've cleared them?

to be honest i've not found a way to clear the codes yet only had about 15 mins before he went to work

I will take a screen shot of all the faults tomorrow, But someone said the new injectors need coding but pp2000 said it cant do it, something about a letter on the top of the injector and the ecu says no coding

Its had a recon engine, loads of bits fitted and still having problems, he's spent the best part of £5500 on repairs in the last year! not a very good ad for the 307 hey

To clear the faults. Read the ECU to get the faults [with ignition on], then click the clear button, turn the ignition off for about 5 seconds, then turn it back on again, and click clear.

You will have to enter the mileage into the ECU each time you clear them, beware its in KM most of the time

Bet its a earlier CAN - VAN 307.

The later ones with the Bosch CAN - CAN system are a lot better.

First snap of faults

Second Snap

Cleared all faults today and started regen of the filter and had to stop after less than 50 seconds, Due to what looked like oil coming out of the exhaust Sad

Have you had the injectors coded to the engine?

When you click on each fault it goes into more depth, with the fault code and when the fault occurred Wink

i cant code the injectors on the car, it says only injectors with a letter stamped on the top can be coded or something. I'm still learning this whole PP2000 thing and its really good but think i need more time with it. He's not sure what to do with the car now with the oil coming out the back?? I hear scrap spices are high right now lol

You can't code injectors with Peugeot Planet.

They need coding to the ECU tho
