Went on a short drive from plympton to lee mill and on the way back noticed my oil temp gauge was 90 degrees, is this normal for such a short distance i.e. 5miles?

Normally, Mine never goes higher than like 40 degrees.
When I'm in traffic it rises dramatically.

will get hot quick mate as you were straight out onto the a38 at high speed i should imagine Razz

mine normally takes a couple of miles to get up to 90 and then sits at that unless im driving really hard in which case it will creep up to just over 95 then once i slow down it drops straight back to 90

nothing to worry bout mate Smile

both my oil and water guages are rock bottom when I am moving. They only creep up when I am stationary. I think someone has been in the dash though so the needles could be wrong.
