Hi, im after a bit of information about 206 rear axles as per my newbie thred the story goes like this:
My little cousin in Ireland crashed his 2005 206 1.1 5door (with ABS) in the snow a few weeks back and has apparently bent the rear axle.
They are having a bit of trouble trying to find a spare replacement over there so I said I'd have a look over here for one as Peugeot over there want about €2000 apparently for a new one.
I've heard that I need to find an ABS specific axle, can anyone confirm if this true and are they different between 3 and 5door models?
Id like to find this out before I buy one as the last thing I want to do is buy one, bring it over to ireland and find out it dosn't fit lol!
Cheers for you help!
Daragh

Any axle from a 206 [02 plate or newer will fit] as long as it has ABS

Your cousins has the multiplexing electrical system, and the connectors differ.
Multiplexing was introduced for the '51 plate, but it tends to be hit and miss with them. Aiming for a '02 plate, you should be safe
