Don't think such a project would be worth it, through all the problems of changing the actual engine, buying everything, to possible trouble popping up after the engine conversion is done... Easier saving up for another 6 months and buy a new car immediately...

but the point is i don't want another car :/ see this kinda annoys me bout this is most people who waana do stuff like this usually get gunned down buy people sayin nooo its not werth it nd stuff but if people want to do it then give them encouragement bout it , most things are pointless but if people have the heart to do it give them a lil bit of hope

Dont bother dude, tune the engine youve got. its probably the most commonly tuned peugeot/citroen engine or a hybrid of it so parts are easy to get hold of, knowledge is known and you could see around 300bhp from forged internal and turbo etc Smile alot of power for such a small car.

true... My point is that i was also interested in doing such a conversion, and the costs and time was was proposed was totally overwhelming... But it depends on your case and your car...

Dude, I personally thing the 1.6 is a better engine than the 2.0 gti and gti 180. You look at 106 gti's and saxo vts. People get some power out of those!

Why do you need an uprated fuel pump and cooling fan?

2001 GTi 138, Bilstein Sprint dampers, H&R springs, 21mm Peugeot Sport torsion bars, 22mm rear ARB, Peugeot Sport Group A wishbones, 283mm discs, Goodridge stainless hoses, Maniflow 304 grade 4-2-1 2.5" manifold and system, 200 cell cat, Richard Longman head, 45mm Jenvey throttle bodies, 9.5mm TB spacers, 90mm air horns, Jenvey throttle linkage, Jenvey fuel rail, Aeromotive and Goodridge fuel fittings and braided hose, ITG sausage filter, Radtec custom radiator, Piper Ultimate Road cams, Piper vernier pulleys, Omex 600 ECU. Saxo electric PAS pump, Vibra Technics engine mounts. Samco coolant hoses, TTV steel flywheel, 4.76 final drive ratio, 307 CC 180 ratios. 2019 BMW 530i. 2017 Mercedes C300 convertible.

you can't compare a 2.0 to 1.6, considering the torque and power power 2.0 still has an advantage. but that doesn't mean the 1.6 is a bad engine.

i would tune the 1.6 or 2.0 lump. but i wouldn't drop a 2.0 lump and then tune it. it is just asking for troubles and $ as well. not to mention gti nowadays are as cheap as chips
