Porsche D90's or the 928's could look sweet too, smooth like the Mono's and 16" (think both can be had in 8J too... I think). You'd need adapters aswell though obviously.

Polished up 928's...

Cool

I am having the arches all round rolled as much as possible. I am still trying to find out how I can go about fit Porka wheels on the 206 as I reckon they would look mint. Haven't seen them 928 ones before but they look sweet.

Cheers drew...yeh it is abit of a shame you can't get any aftermarket lights for them as I would have loved to get some Smile

Dan Very Happy

I'm still looking around for wheels and I've also come across the 8Jx15" Schmidts TH Lines but I reckon they will look too small. Could go with the 7.5Jx16" one but they don't have a dish on them. Still looking around wheels. Shame Lodey sold the MAMs last Saturday as I would have had them straight off him Sad

Yesterday my dad started on trimming the rooflining and pillar covers in the suede that I bought. He managed to get the B-Pillar covers trimmed up and also he sprayed the white pieces that move up and down with the seatbelts in gloss black so that they blend in the pillar covers.

Dad's not doing the rear pillar covers as they are far to intercate.

Student loans still not come through and I've got no money to spend on it anymore as all the money I had has been spent on my Uni stuff.

Left to do;

- get into bodyshop for;
- repair sill & a post, jig, replace passenger side light panel and repair pass. side front arch.
- Spray up exactly how I want it.
- retrim roof and a pillars
- fit interior and rebuild remainder of car
- lower rear beam & fit coilovers
- choose and buy wheels
- full service
- vic and mot

other then that it'll just be the little bits and pieces to be done.

Found the roof light surround in the mine field of parts within the car as I had the idea of getting the surround sprayed up in gloss black to blend in with the roof lining just how I've done the moving strips in the B-Pillar covers.

Got it rubbed down to get off all the dimples from the moulds and then got it into filler primer.

In Primer;

Also got the centre console scotched down as there were imprefections in it so going to get it sprayed back up in gloss black.

I had a bit of an idea...seeing as I'm doing my dash centre in Gloss Black I though why not do my door handle surrounds and corner dash vents the same.

I did have a set of GTi180 corner vents which I bought as I thought I'd buy each bit seperately as I couldn't justify the prices of the the parts all at once. But those are up for sale.

Anyway got the surrounds scotched up ready for primer and paint.

Took the vents appart (I also found out that the face of the vents came off so I took them off to spray up)

Vents in Primer (didn't get a pic of them in filer primer) & surrounds in Filler primer);

Then got the surrounds in Primer;

After that I started on finishing up the grille so mixed up some filler and started to get the centre finished up as there were still some bumps and ridges.

Just waiting for it to harden then gunna get it rubbed down perfect Smile

Cheers mate Smile

My undertray is completely mashed as a result of the accident and I didn't get a tray with the bumper so I'm going to be getting a metal tray made up running the length that the GT tray and also the sump guard would run and have it spread out to the width of bumper as the standard or sports wheel arch lining don't go out to as long as the bumper.

I'm going to try and get it up on a ramp and get a template made and get it made up and bolt it to the original mounting points. Will also kinda help with the car being low as it'll protect the sump lol.

lol. ill ask how much it is from pug,(£1800 +vat) ha ha.

but ill get my standard sump guard back, and then ill see if i can get a small sheet of plastic to make one for the GT bumper.

but i cant wait to see yours with the headlining all done. it'll be the first one ive seen with the black headlining. but seriously man, keep at it. its a great car that is rarely seen modified to the extent that youre taking it to.
