It's non-plexed.

And look at the 6th, 7th and 8th letter of your VIN number for the engine code.

So am I right in sayin that the engine code has nothin to do with whether its preplex or multi. Also is the position of the dipstick relevant. I have found an engine with same code and from same year so it will fit yeah?

KFW - 1.4 8v EEC 95 depoll engine (TU3AF lump)
KFX - 1.4 8v EEC 2000 depoll engine (TU3JP lump)

The KFW was introduced in order to meet new emission levels [level 4 i think]. It also has a bigger compression ratio 10.5:1 [vs 10.2:1 on the other]. It uses a Sagem S 2000 ECU as well.

Yeah if you get one with the same engine code and year it should fit.

There seems to be a lot of engines for sale advertised as kfw with dipstick on the right. Any ideas?
