Nope windscreen has not be replaced in my ownership only had a stone chip repaired on the passenger side not even near the wiper.
So it could be down the windscreen then, interesting I wonder how would I get that checked out any ideas.

i was going to suggest this as well.
but surely many people is using aero wipers without any problems??

Been using the Bosch aeros for a few years & dont have any issues.

how much did then end up costing you or was it an insuraNCE JUST, JUST WONDERING AS I NEED A NEW SCREEN REALLY, CHEERS

Thats weird..... Now I got the perspex side windows I cant stick my head out to see where I am going in the rain.... so now I go everywhere sideways and look through the slider
