Non-plexed use a bolt on airbag, whereas mux use a clip on airbag

They are interchangeable within the same electrical system.

So basically if the airbag is supplied with the steering wheel it is interchangable without a doubt?

Do they have the same size column (diameter) for the Wheel to sit into.?

No, you need to use a non-plexed steering wheel on a non-plexed car. Same with mux.

So yours will only fit upto like a Y-reg (2001)

You need a MULTIPLEXED / CLIP ON airbag type steering wheel Wink

Multiplexing came in on the 206 from late 2001.

You also use your original airbag with the leather wheel, it's the same fit across the multiplexed 206 range.

Be warned: A non plexed / BOLT ON airbag type wheel is NO GOOD for your car!

Airbag is clipped on for the multiplexed wheel, as long as its the clip on type multiplexed wheel it will fit.

The only thing at 6.30 is the slot on the back of the wheel to release the clip Wink

Shut BSI down correctly then wait 10 minutes before you unplug the drivers airbag.

That allows the airbag system back up capacitors to discharge.
