Went to take my front wheel off today, loosened the bolts jacked it up and taken the bolts out no problem. Neither me, my dad or the guy from next door could pull the wheel off, tried tapping it to no avail
The garage who put my alloys on obviously didnt you copper grease. What can I do to loosen the wheel off? I've put WD40 in the centre hole of the wheel hoping it might help overnight for when i try again tomorrow

Lie on the floor and give the right hand edge of the wheel an almighty boot with your size 10s! It's the only way to break the seal if tapping hasn't sorted it - never put copper grease before fitting a wheel and never had an issue myself unless the bolts have been over tightened by a garage etc.

Put a piece of wood on the back of the wheel and tap the wood with a hammer. Turn it and tap again. Or put on bolt in a couple of threads, get under the car and kick it off. Make sure u clean it up and copper slip before you refit it.

Lead hammer FTW, doesn't damage the alloy as you smack it off.
Making a lead hammer is also the perfect way to use up all those old lead wheel weights you cant fit on customers cars anymore

Another way if all else fails is to loosen the wheelnuts and then go round the block. That's what an RAC man told me if everything else fails. Normally though a good whack with a rubber mallet frees them off.

Thanks for the replies guys
I want to get the problem sorted incase I get a puncture
Im trying again tomorrow, we even tried lowering the jack and not even the weight of the car did anything, we tried the wood and hammer trick
Am I wasting my time with WD40 in the hole?

You're not using enough force
Rotate the wheel, tapping the back as it spins and then hit it hard.

Loosen it a bit, reverse back and forth a couple of times. Jack it back up and give it a good strong kick

He's asking about how to remove a wheel, not your life plans.
