hello all ,,, i bought a new key cover for my 206 GTI and i just changed the electronic component from the old one to the new key cover ,, and suddenly when i wanted to switch on the car it does not start it just tell me engine immobilizer fault .. so whats the problem with it ?? and when i use the spare key for the car it works .... so please advice me

Look inside your old keyfob, there will be a small black chip inside.
Without that transponder chip the car wont start

Its a small black chip inside the keyfob, its NOT part of the electrical circuit board.
Open the old fob up & you should see it.
