Apart from my lights failures, I was also failed on the drivers sider washer "providing insufficient washer liquid" and by insufficient, it meant NONE!

I've searched the forum but only found info about new jets or the differences between them the phases)

I've used a needle to try clear it out (as I used to on my fiesta) but to no avail.

I opened the bonnet and saw the pipes are hidden by the fabric.

So my question is...

Is there something known that causes this...

How do I get the damn fabric off

And lastely, any ideas???

Just take off the mushroom clips then the sound deadening will come away.

New washer jets are about £8 from Peugeot

Might as well upgrade to Phase two ones if you dont already have them, they spray a mist and it doesn't look like you have two erect nipples on your bonnet.

The fabric is only held in with butterfly type clips, use a small flat head screwdriver to pop the centre of the clips out then the rest will follow.

Apart from unblocking with a pin like you have mentioned, it could be the pipe that is blocked or come away from the jet itself although I would think you would notice water somewhere in or under the engine bay.

If you can't see anything obvious, I would source a new jet from a scrappy to try, they are very easy to remove too.

Good luck Very Happy

Thanks for the speedy replies guys (this forum actually rocks btw!!!)

I will get under the fabric tomorrow and unplug the pipe from the jet and see if any water comes out. If it does then its almost certainly the jet itself.

I think I may need to get a break light switch from Peugeot anyway (cannot seem to find them online).

Thanks again guys.

when you unplug the pipe try and get use of an airline and blow it down the pipe that should clear any blockage

It would appear that under the noise fabric that the pipe that splits off to the drivers side was twisted and just needed to be twisted back and all the pipe tidyed up.

This can be closed. Thanks a lot for your help guys. Only my break lights to fix now then its MOT is sorted

Tis strange, but then again, its been like that since the day I bought it. So could have happened before.
