Good Morning!
I am trying to install my under dashboard neons and the only supply i found was the one at the ashtray bulb which lights up with the sidelight which is not what i want exactly.
I wish to find a permanent life that will allow me to switch on the neon at the flick of a switch! I was told there is a permanent life behind the center console? where exactly? and how do i manage to get to it?
Thanks!

Being the picky sort - I really hate it when people say this. Yes we all know what it looks like - but we all want to see the condition that yours is in! | |

Red wire on the headunit loom OR if your car is preplexed then the perm live on the cigarette lighter

what year is it?
To get to the perm live pull the radio out. OR unscrew the console around the handbrake. If youre not familiar with this should you be putting neons in yourself?

1999 will be a preplex. Get in the car and push the lighter in without the keys.It should heat up and pop out. there's your perm LIVE. Yes, pull the radio out and use the red wire coming from the back of it.

Or you can use the yellow wire on the headunit so esentially they come on when you unlock the doors and turn off when you lock them. But you will sill have the manual switch if you want. thats how mine are done
