Anyone know if im either doing something wrong or my auto wipers are broken.
I switch the wiper stalk up to auto and the wipers are just on the slow speed setting. The light is on the rain sensor in the windscreen but te speed dont change and there on even if there is no rain.
Anyone have any ideas?

It won't change speed unless the sensor detects an increase in rain frequency.

The auto function is a bit hit & miss.
Sometimes they wipe eratticly for a second when its just light rain.
So I hardly ever used them.
May be a problem with the sensor.

What light do you have on the sensor? A good way to try it is to put a hose pipe over it. If its day time and your wipers come on full speed, your headlights also come on as well!

Don't mean to hi-jack this thread, I don't have auto wipers but, is it normal for the wipers to change speed as you accelerate?

Your sensor is f****d.
Change of speed means the wipers speed up as there is more rain hitting the screen.

Is the light on the inside or the outside, I've not noticed that on mine! Probably a lot of work and money to change it.

its on the outside. I probably wont ever use them as most people say the auto wipers dont work that well. But it annoys me it not working.
I dont seem to have auto lights either, if i do i dont know how to switch them on.
