ok, some of you may know that my car needs a new engine Sad

I have the donor engine, but, I have no idea how to swap it and i cant afford for a garage to do it. I've asked my mates and none of them want to do it.

So, basically is there anyone on here willing to help? :S

I dont expect it to be done for free, but it would have to be done on a weekend, and both cars cant travel, so it would need to be done at my house.

Its a straight swap, a 1.6 8v out, and a 1.6 8v in.

anyone interested?

You need to hire or borrow an engine hoist for a start.

if i was local i would help i know it no good but hay, like others say, u need an engin hoist about £7 for 4 hours or £15 for a weekend
then unbolt gearbox and support it, undo all mounts and wirineg and pull it out, id reccoment puttin a new clutch on the new engine befoer putting it in as it save a job later on and a cambelt and water pump.
