How do you get the gear linkage off? The thing wont budge an inch. Its not stuck, just stubbon. Is therr a technique? Am in the middle of it now so help asap would me much appreciated. Cheers

The quickshift isn't on yet btw its the original at wont budge.

Clean the selector rod of ALL dirt & oil, and use loctite to keep it secure.
A few people have had ruined gearboxes due to the design.
