i dropped mine 110 with coilovers and it looked the business!!!(plus sat how you explained how you wanted it) and now i have a cracked sump!!!! worth it umm unsure but it did look good.

i dont think i can keep stocking sumps tho not easy part to find !

if you wand it lower i would invest in coilovers but don't drop it to the extreme as i did Very Happy

That didnt answer the q's though they are 55m springs and its looks to be gone about 10m

some one ?

by your pic it looks def. more than 10mm, i recon. it's about 40mm

and even you bought the 55mm drop spring they are not guarantee to give 55mm drop Laughing

Its been a week now, i would of thought they might of softend up, it has been standing since it was done..?

2 days driving would be enough to settle in. it dont depends how hard the springs are!! if your mates have bought 55m but different brand, there's might be softer springs hence giving them a lower look

Advice needed i want it to be sitting on the wheel thats why i bought the 55m springs?

you cant just assume 55m will sit right where you want it to not all cars are the same hence why i said coilovers would be the best if you want the out come you are looking for !!

Dampers will not be making the car higher.

It is not 55M or 10M, M as an SI Unit stands for Metre.

206 1400 8v HDi, Battle Bus - More Radical than Peugeot
205 1600 8v GTi, Track Toy Trauma, PatcHes - Driving again after 10 years since it was last on the road!
205 1600 8v GTi, The One and Only, FuDGe - Off the road again. Need to finish PatcHes first!
307 2000 16v XSi HDi - Comfy Cruiser

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

No one here is really going to be able to help you though are they? You bought the springs, if they have been fitted and arent low enough then it IS the springs that's the problem. Phone the company and have the code (written on the spring) and ask them. Dampers will not affect height but I will tell you now if you fitted 55mm springs without uprating the dampers then you are making a big mistake anway, it's probably for the best they haven't dropped that far.

Mines lowered 60mm by the way and nearly sits on the wheel so it looks about 25-40 to me.

do you know the exact drop, did you measure the distance between the wheel and arch before you lowered?

it could be that cuz they range from 1.1 1.4 1.6 that they drop a 1.6 55mm and 1.1 about 35mm. just a thought
