Hi there, bought a great looking 206 gti yesterday and in the space of 90 miles, its used just over 1/4 of a tank, is there a problem here or is the GTi just a natural fuel guzzler?

That's about right I think. Depends on how you were driving it

Ah right, Thought i had a problem with it at first. Driving home we were doing about 75-85 mph and thought the fuel consumption was abit steep to be honest but thanks for the reassurance.

A ram air filter will make it slower and less responsive Wink

Get a panel filter

Deffinatly doing something to the induction, dont know yet weather or not to go for the panel filter or ram air filter, i want the car to be quick and sound quite mean, but like i said i dont want it slowed down neither. and also photo's are on my profile i think.

Panel filter NOT ram!

It won't add any bhp (maybe 1?) but, it will make the car feeel a tad more responsive. And if you clean it/oil it, the filter will last the cars lifetime.

A ram air intake will make the fuel run lean and slowly damage the engine
