Thats got nothing to do with AC, I don't think???
I would just check all your AC pipes and rad for leaks.
Mine is leaking where a rubber hose has started to rub on the AC pump pully, not sure if thats a common problem?

Will probably just need re-gassing at your local A/C garage.

when you switch the aircon on and off can you hear the compressor click in and out?

he says that because the aircon might be working fine but have no gas in the compressor, so it shuts off to prevent damage and gives you warm air Razz

its common for the gas to leak out if its been a long time since it was gassed up.

if you cant hear the compressor engaging thats a different problem Razz

Please Dont take any of my posts as written fact. They are simply my opinion and although to the best of my knowledge true, the information within them may well be incorrect.

Any work you undertake as a result of my posts is done so at your own risk Smile

I can not hear anything at all when i press the button.... So i think ill go get it re gassed and see what happens. Ive had the car for 2 months and its never worked so i was just asking on here what and which way to go about getting it sorted out in time for the good weather.

Ive looked about and the dreaded kwikfit are doing refills for silly money... so ill book into there to get it done.

If that does not work should i be looking at the compressor?

why wont you work??????????????????? ARGH F**k it!!!!!

There are suggestions that it is important to use air-con indepent what weather condition is, plus or minus temeperature. Just turn or it for several minutes and then turn off. And do it every several weeks.
When in service serviceman will fill air-con with gas, he also check if there will be any leaking. He spray water to component of air-con when A/C is turned on to max speed and see result.
