hi guys
need some help with my remote locking please, not so long ago i had my 2005 1.1 206 broken into and in doing so they messed all electrics up ( so bad car wouldnt even start!) i got a new ecu etc and paid for the car to be fixed, however its really bugging me that my remote locking will not work at all, i checked fuses under the steering wheel and under the bonnet all seems fine i bought a drivers door locking motor but still nothing, ive tried to reprogram the key etc but its no good, the guy at the garage said there seems to be signal from the key but not the car?... anyone know why this may be? also anyone know where the remote locking sensor is in the car?
cheers guys any help is much appreciated

Transponder only does the immobiliser.

The four digit security code. The keys need to be programed to the ECU

Depends if its unlocked or not tbh, because if the person who fitted the ECU bypassed the immobliser
Then the key is f****d, it might not signal right

True.
Some people might fit a immboliser bypass when fitting a second hand ECU, as they are only like £40. So it's easier than coding it back in.
