Just had a new CV Joint fitted due to cracked ABS ring but the warning light on the dash is still there. Do I need to have this reset or will it just go away on its own?

It should go out on its own, did you have a diagnostic on it as you could have a faulty abs sensor too

Pug did a diag and only thing they said was cracked ABS ring and they wanted me to pay £300 for a new Drive Shaft. I ended up buying just the CV Joint for £20 and got a local garage to fit.

Will clear on its own unless there is another fault, i had to go through 2 abs sensors, 2 CV joints and had to find some broken wiring before mine went off. Good Luck

I guess I will have to wait and see. When it does clear on its own, how long would that normally take as I'd have thought it would have gone as soon as I started driving the car with the new CV Joint.

I would be suprised if the ABS sesor was broken as it only came on in the first place when it detected the cracked ring but then nothing suprises me on a 206!

It should take a maximum of 30 seconds driving to come back on, from my experiance once one goes the rest follow, but that was just my experiance, glad the 180's gone now lol
