hi am hoping to get some help with a problem with our lasses 206 ,its had new drop links and bottom arms both sides the wheel bearings are fine but.....when you accelerate from a low speed there is aloud clunk only once until you brake fairly hard then there is another my first thought was engine mount so had a look and all seem ok pulled around by hand and bars =nothing ,handbrake hard on lots of revs to try pull away rocking up and down =nothing mmmmmmmmmmm maybe drive shafts empty carpark full lock both ways =nothing i am running out of ideas can anyone shed any light or pass on any thoughts that may help i would be really gratefull thanks in advance hope some one can help

it maybe but usually would make a noise when on full lock but its not ?????

How long ago did you change the droplinks. I changed mine 6 months ago and had to change the passenger side one again last week for the MOT, must have been a dodgy pair. Have you checked the bushes.

Out of interest, is the clunk definately coming from the front?
It's not something like the drums/brakes sticking?

I know you said you have checked the engine mounts but the fact it does it under acceleration and braking makes me think it's mount related
