Tell me more
Tom, I do not know until I am connected to the car to look at the capabilities of your BSI. But more than likely yes you can, but you will also need the COM with the trip button and also the MFD

Correct on the auto locking, you can turn it on / off with the dash locking button. |
Does this mean that you can set it up without plugging it in? Or is this after you have enabled it in the BSI set up?

You need it enabling in the BSI first. Some cars have it as standard

Have recently purchased Peugeot Planet, auto locking is on my BSI, but when i enable it it doesnt work. it does say SW only though, I have a locking short circuit thats screwed up all the BSI, luckily found Peugeot Planet and purchased and most of the problems rectified. it never had auto locks, just want to add if possible.

Have you got the hazard switch with the lock button on it?
Off the top of my head, you have to hold the button down for so many seconds and that activates/deactivates the auto locking function. How to activate it should be in the owners handbook
