Grinder sparks can do this, if its like glitter, looks like someone has done work to the car without covering the windscreen. I learnt that the hard way, never crossed my mind until the sun came out Sad

maybe as a nice effect then, mask the paintwork off around the back windows, and grind a piece of metal sending the sparks towards the glass, forget tinted get GLITTERED!

hahaha glittered windows lol

might give the insurance a ring and see what they say about it Razz will try the old "it's dangerous, change it for me" lol never know, might be worth a try, its a nightmare when the sun shines on it!

Mine has lots of teeny chips too. They mostly only show on the very rare occasions I clean it. I don't actually find it that suprising after 9 years and 122000 miles with the same windscreen.

The 'problem' is some cars get a new windscreen every couple of years when they get cracked by a flying stone or something. The 206 windscreen seems relatively tough, I've had alsorts of stuff bounce off.
