I'm having trouble removing the air box from my car, I always assumed I had the TU3JP so I ordered an air filter for that, to find that the air intake is completely different and the wrong size, and that it is the TU3A.
This is what it looks like: (not my picture)
I undone the jubilee clip to the throttle body, all the bolts on the air box lid, the breather pipe and a bolt holding the box on, but it still doesn't want to move. The lid needs to be lifted off but it is attatched to the throttle body, and wont really move to the right any. Am I missing something?
Also, whenever I look for air filters, the websites assume I have the JP engine, does anyone know the measurements for the air filter for my car?
There really isnt a lot of info on my engine lol

The TU3A was to meet euro4 emissions so you tax might be cheaper than someone with a JP. It uses a Sagem injection system rather than Bosch [or might be magnetti] like on the JP
Special features of the injection system :
Transponder : 2 version
Piloted alternator with improved performance (Reduction of consumption)
Piloted thermostat
Engine phase detector : Incorporated in the compact coil housing
Sequential injection
Twin static type ignition
Air temperature sensor incorporated in the inlet manifold air pressure sensor
ECU supply : Double relay incorporated in the engine fuse box (BSM)
Engine cooling function : Incorporated in the injection ECU
Accelerator pedal with integral sensor
Motorised throttle housing
Special features of the fuel circuit :
Injection rail without fuel return
Fuel gauge/pump module with integrated fuel filter
Special features of the emission control : No recirculation of the exhaust gas.
Special features of the air conditioning : Air conditioning pressostat (Linear sensor).
Special features of the engine cooling system :
With air conditioning : Dual speed fan assembly
Without air conditioning : Single speed fan assembly
Are you just trying to change the filter or the whole lot?

Thanks for your response Lee,
I was trying to remove the whole lot so I could change my gear linkages, but wanted to change my filter whilst I was at it

Oh and the filter is 354 x 102mm with a standard depth of 50mm
Same as the 1.4 16v in the 206

Only the airbox
If you've undone the clip on the top left and the one on the resonator then you move it to the right to lift it off the grommet/slot thingy [bottom left on resonator side

I'm having a lot of trouble trying to undo the clip that holds the resonator hose to the air box. I've tried levering with a screw driver and pushing it in all directions but it wont budge.
Whoever wrote the 206 Haynes manual with the phrases "simply unclip" will be simply unclipping my boot from his a**!

For those who are also stuck on removing the resonator pipe from the airbox (TU3A and ET3 engines), there are actually two clips that you need to press at the same time for the pipe to pop out.. I found this out having another look today, beforehand I was just trying to undo that one clip wondering why it wasn't working, d'oh! The second one was hiding
Comparing the top picture to my engine bay picture, my expansion tank is mank! Time for some new fluids
