I recently got mine done at a MOT station for a few beers however when I was driving on a dark road my passenger side was a good foot lower and shined directly in front of the bumper. My drivers side seemed fine.
Also where the two beams met there was a dark spot around a foot square in front of the car. I ended up adjusting my passenger side up myself so the beam is straight across and actually lowered my drivers side slightly.

I don't know what im going to do come MOT time if the alignment was right. I can't see how it was tho. Every other beam pattern i've seen aligned is straight across right to left without massive gaps and a drop on the left.
My passneger side now just catches the bottom edge of road signs where the lens flicks up
