Hey all yet anonther problem with my gti 180 now i have a anti pollution fault

So far i have connect her up to my code reader

P0141 (Oxygen sensor)

i have change BOTH lambda sensors in the exhaust but still no change its cost me just ove £200 mark and still with no joy

Can any one give any advice

check the current going into the sensor i think it should be around 12-15 oms

www.206info.co.uk/Foru...24078.html try cleaning the map sensor it's on the second diagram bottom left sensor. My did the same replaced both oxygen sensors and still there so cleaned this and been fine since. Or may be one of the sensors you got is faulty.

focus st 3 with pro alloy intercooler, 3" mongoose down pipe, 200 cell sports cat and mongoose cat back, collins bov, dreamscience dsci cold air intake,focus rs injectors,focus rs oil cooler,dreamscience dsci tuneing platform mod X map,focus rs clutch & flywheel, rs fuel pump, polly bushes in wish bones rear axal and suspension white line front and rear arb, eibach pro street s suspension.

Also try cleaning the VVT solenoid Smile pull it out spray it with carb cleaner! wack it back in... worth a try

Ye number 7 is the one you want. Wouldnt recommend taking the vvt solenoid out as there very delicate part and are the good part of £80 to replace. Plus it will have nothing to do with the anti pollution fault if that wastnt working when you did the diagnostics it would come up as timeing retarded. Leave well alone. Speaking from experience here lol.

yes i know all about the cost of vvt lol stupid thing after this i am think it could be cat or maybe a dodgey fuel filter (probaly not tho)

If it turns out to be the cat what sort of price am i looking at all i can find is ranging from £200 - £700

If you have replaced the sensor then check for a short or high resistance in the wiring

Bank1 Sensor 2 is the one after the cat
