As some of you may know Samco do not do a kit of hoses for the 180 which i find quite annoying myself Evil or Very Mad

So i am going to be looking into getting in touch with them and possibly getting hold of the second hose for the 180, the one they dont make, and sending it off to them for them to reproduce it as a silicone hose.

There is nothing set in stone saying they will do this for me but if i can get hold of the part which i can i think Confused

it must be one of these 2 and my guess is the second one?

Link 1
Link 2

If anyone can confirm which one it is that i would need for them would be great.

My question is how many 180 owners would be interested in getting them?

If the price is right that is as even i dont want to pay silly money for this but if i have an idea of how many people interested then there's more chance they will do this Very Happy

Any questions or points on this fire away

Couldn't you just get a bunch of hoses and cut them to length yourself? Also wouldn't be a hell of a lot cheaper?

I could spend my time trying this yes but it would take a lot of time measuring up and so on and cutting silicone hose is not easy.

And not necessarily cheaper as you have to think of the waste i would produce and so on and there would be joins whereas samco may be able to produce it as one piece.

Plus samco hoses are well known for good quality hoses and with enough interest it might be cheaper than you think Wink as the more i can say would want it the more likely they are to produce it and the cheaper it would be Very Happy

Not really no, the hoses are shaped and if you just try and bung any old hose on there it will put strain on the joints each end and possibly kink the hose.

No the gti hoses wont fit on to the gti 180 rad, as the gti 180 rad has a push in type hose like on audi/vw and the gti has just a normel style one with gub chip Smile

Or you could it a gti rad to the 180 then you could use the samco hoses, then fit a oil cooler to do cooling round the oil filter houseing.

I would all so be interested in it aswell if samco could make on up for the gti 180 Smile keep me in touch.
