Hi guys, i was messing about with my rear light in my boot. I blew all the electrics in my car, and the car isnt starting, have tested fuses and some are working, some are not. when my key is in ignition, my side lights are on, even though the stick says they are turned off, and when i turn my stick, still none of my lights are coming on, its just staying on the sidelights. my wipers arent working, basically, no electrics.
any help pls?

just spoken to peugeot, they said its the thing behind the fusebox, like under the dashboard, has gone, and the part is £295, but it has to go to a peugeot specialist, because it has the immobiliser and everything in it also? so guess im looking at like £400-£500? can anyone help in any way?
Thanks

thats the bsi mate. the replacement part is £300ish, then it needs recoding to the car and thats the more expensive part.

Sounds like peugeot think the BSI has gone. If you are getting a new one recoded you're looking in excess of £700.
Shouldn't mess with electrics with power on
Replace all the blow fuses, if its still not working, get someone to test it with Peugeot Planet to see if its communicating. If it won't, it would be cheaper to buy a 2nd hand ECU, BSI and transponder

if i buy the 2nd hand ECU, BSI, and transponder, as this contains the immobiliser also, how would i get the immobiliser to work with my key? is it hard to do?

The ecu, bsi and transponder will all contain the same code so the immobliser will work.
