the fault codes i had were injector 3, since all have been changed, imobaliser fault ( dont really care about that one) and knock sensor witch has also been changed.

lol, that is a cheap aftermarket product, doesnt even say the model that it fits, id say pretty much guaranteed to not fit, its also from germany.
servicebox tells me that the part new from peugeot is
00001628JX POTENTIOMETER 161.75 GBP
so errr yeah..

that number matches up with the one your saying, minus the 0000
looks the same as well
if a few more ppl can confirm it looks to be that sensor il have it off you.

yeah they say it fits but will it actually lol  and it being a sensor you have no idea of what the quality of its internals are etc etc
but yeah just let me know if you want it im in no rush.

Got hold of a new TPS sesnr yestaday, it didnt fix the problem and yes it was a genuine one Kersh 
any one got any other ideas as to what it could be?

lambda sensor , only got the 1 on mine, it reads correctly according to my dads snapon tool, i think it could be air leak or the EGR but i dont know enough about the egr really. or how to tell if its working or not.

to test the air leak run the engine on idle and spray wd40 (very lightly and carefuly) around the seals on the intake manifold and the seals on the throttle body. if you hear a change in engine noise that means that some has got through and that is where you have a leak

ye already done that last week, made no difference, i really think its the egr vavle but not sure on the common problems.

no idea mate, unplug it and see what happens. all it does is recycle gases it should be fine to unplug.

doh i snaped a bold that hold the egr down, so now i need to get the side of the engine off and drill it out or replace it looks like the side unbolts also does the water housing. I Will try pick up a ICV at the week end see if it makes any differenace but wont hold my breath.

did you snap it up tightening it?? as it will probably just screw out with pliers or fingers or a light drill if you did
take the icv off and give it a good clean with carb cleaner, see what happens

no undoing it, sheared off level, and its at the back of the engine, have already cleaned the valve.
