I have a 206 hdi 90, when I go over a bump or pothole now and then, it goes into a kind of limp mode it feels slower, but when I press the red fuel cut off switch under the bonnet the car goes back to normal driving?

Why would it do this, is it normal?

I don't just it does it now and then when I go over a little bump, some bumps it does it and some it don't.

I don't cut my car off it still drives but feels like I'm towing 2 cars behind it, like lack of performance until I press that red cut off switch, it does this itermittently
